2) Explain the indications and contraindications of endodontic treatment.
3) Express the principles in dental imaging in respect to endodontic diagnosis and treatment.
4) Express the principles of local anaesthesia for the treatment of pulpal and periradicular disease.
5) Define the physiological and anatomical changes that take place in the pulpo-dentinal complex of teeth as a result of dental caries.
6) Express the aetiology, pathology, clinical presentations and treatment options for diseases affecting the pulp.
7) Express the aetiology, pathology, clinical presentations and treatment options for diseases affecting the periradicular tissues.
8) Explain the healing of periapical structures.
