Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1) Defines the concept of occupational health and safety. Summarizes the historical developmentof occupational safety and health in Turkey and the world
2) Explains the basic principles of occupational health and safety. Defines safety culture and the benefits.
3) Determines and compares the relationship of socio-economic development and occupational health and safety.
4) Explains the occupational health and safety current regulations in our country.
5) Defines the Foundation of Risk assessment and necessity. Evaluates the risks at work.
6) Makes the definition of occupational hygiene. Defines the responsibilities and relationships of occupational hygiene
7) Defines the basic concept of ergonomics. Defines the effects of ergonomic risks. Explaines the work to be done to prevent the effects of the ergonomic risks. .
