1) Explains the today’s economic facts and events with their historical origins by learning the history economic thought
2) Explains the basic principles of macroeconomis, macroeconomic variables and measurements
3) Knows GDP and its components, variables such as unemployment, budget deficit, money supply-money demand, interest rate and trade deficit
4) Analyzes the effects of monetary and fiscal policies on the economy
5) Explains the effects of international economic and financial relations on the economy

Course Contents

Introduction to macro economy, understanding the basic logic of aggregated economic activities, handling all the components of the concept of national income, the role of money in macroeconomics under the main heading of money, introduction of simultaneous equilibrium and monetary policy practices in goods and money markets, basic instabilities in economic life and combating them. The transfer of fiscal policy practices and the examination of international economic relations constitute the basic issues in the understanding of methods and tools.
