Course Contents

This course covers; definition and general structure of microprocessor, assembler language, machine language, registers, hardware structures, RAM, ROM, EPROM, EEPROM, memory structures, examination of internal structure of microprocessor, the microprocessor arithmetic logic and control unit, accumulator structure, microprocessor data path, data path structure, microcomputer design, addressing, logic, machine language commands run on the microcomputer, 8080 and 8085 assembler language, machine language, assembler language convertersions, assembler commands, analog and digital converters, 8086, 80286, 16-bit microprocessors, addressing modes, interrupt structures, the use of ports, protected-mode addressing structure and PIC.
