4) The ability to separate off Turkish, Arabic and Persian letters and sounds in Ottoman Turkish.
5) The ability to understand the words and word types in Ottoman Turkish.
6) The ability to read literary and cultural texts written in Ottoman Turkish

Historical development of the Ottoman Turkish, grammar knowledge, text reading.

1) Ottoman Turkish: Features-Historical Adventure
2) Letters: Sound and Composition
3) Types of Writing: Handwriting and Printedfont
4) Spelling of Turkish words: Spelling of Stems
5) Spelling of Turkish words: Spelling of the name suffixes
6) Spelling of Turkish words: Spelling of the verb suffixes
7) Spelling of Turkish words: Name phrase and verb phrase
8) The numerical values of digits and letters (Ebced account)
9) Arabic-derived words: Basic spelling features
10) Words of Persian origin: Basic spelling features
11) Examples of literary works in the first period (Yunus Emre, Ahmed Fakih Ashik Pasha etc.)
12) Examples of literary works of the Middle period (Suleyman Chelebi, Ashikpashazade, Niyazi-i Misri, etc.)
13) Examples of literary works in the new period (Namik Kemal, Ziya Pasha, etc.)
