Course Contents

This course covers; periods on world maritime history, naval battles and the effects, historical development of the vehicles used in shipping, impacts of the maritime to cultural heritage (art, literature, archeology), maritime world in 21th century, Turkish maritime history, developments, events, peoples, works of maritime history, manuscripts, maps, portolans.
