1) Explaining the existence and development of occupational safety in world and in our country
2) Evaluating the importance of occupational safety as far as the costs that are faced are concerned (employee, employer, and state economy)
3) Explaining the reasons of occupational accidents
4) Realizing in unsafe situations and behaviours
5) Counting the safety rules
6) Recognizing the sources of threats and determine them
7) Explaining what to do for the control of the risks by evaluating the risk

This course includes historical background of occupational safety, importance of occupational safety, general view of occupational safety in our country, reasons of the occupational accidents, safety concept and safety rules, probability and risk, determination of risk, risk evaluation, control of risks.
