Course Contents

The history of folklore and folk dances , game types and features, music , clothes , games and stories from different regions , to the theoretical knowledge and applications of game types.

1) The definition of Korfball, history and development in the world and in Turkey, general ınformation about Korfball
2) Study of catching and passing the ball
3) Passing techniques a- basic pass b-chest pass c- bounce pas d-back pass
4) Shooting techniques a- stationary shoot b- slam dunk jump c- shooting on the move
5) Turn around shooting techniques
6) Penaltyshoot; Turn around shooting
7) Revision of catching and passing the ball, review of shooting techniques
8) Midterm examination/Assessment
9) Reubaund position; Assist position
10) Attack systems a-4-0 attack b-3-1 attack c- 2-1-1attacking
11) Defense Systems a- man to man defense b- zone defense c- match-up defense
12) Free passes; Katting rule;Penalty technique; Layup
13) Implementation of the techniques learned in match conditions
