4) Examine the supply and demand of tourism according to regions
5) Explain the natural characteristics of tourism in our country such as land forms and climate. Describe the structure of flora and fauna
6) List lakes and rivers, waterfalls, the hot springs and mineral waters
7) Examine coasts, beaches and undiscovered geographic regions

Course Contents

This course covers geography, culture, tourism and the Tourism Geography concept, Definition and characteristics of the geography of tourism.Geography, Culture, Tourism and the Tourism Geography concept. Definition and characteristics of the geography of tourism. Tourism resources. Introduction to Classical mythology. Periods of prehistory and history of Anatolia, the main lines of Anatolian civilizations,geographic regions of Turkey, the tourism richess of geographic regions, study of touristical supply and demand of regions, earth conditions and climate,flora and fauna ,lakes,rivers and waterfalls,sauna and mineral waters,beaches and plages, evaluation of advantages and disadvantages of geographical conditions of Turkey , comparison of countries and their evaluation .
