Course Contents

Architecture, painting and sculpture in the field, within the framework of Western art, culture and history of civilization is to provide basic information under the pre-historic times to the present. Art concept of the relationship of art and history, primitive art of prehistoric times XX. Century history of the development of art in the art of handling up to, during this process, architecture, music, sculpture, painting in its period features of samples

2) Baroque Art: Innovations and characteristics of Baroque Art, concerning architecture, painting and sculpture in Italy and Spain between 1600-1700, with major works.
3) Baroque Art: General information about Baroque art in Flanders and Holland with major works. General information about Baroque painting, sculpture and architecture in France and England
4) The Rococo: Theme and expression in the 18th century European painting. Rococo in architecture
5) General information about the Neoclassical art. Neoclassical painting, sculpture and architecture
6) General information about Romanticism. Romanticism in paintings and sculpture
7) General information on Realism. Realism in paintings and sculpture.
