Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1) Learns the nature of the problem of defining religion, different definitions of religion and different theories about the origin of religion.
2) Gains knowledge of the subject, methods and relation of the history of religions with other sciences.
3) Understands the perspective and method difference between traditional Islamic sciences and modern religious sciences.
4) Religions in the history of the Islamic world and the West learns development in Turkey.
5) Gains knowledge of the emergence of religions, their historical development, principles of belief, worship and morality, and the connection between these religions.
