Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1) Explaining the concepts of basic mathematics and numeracy
2) Explaining sets and defined operations on sets.
3) Applying operation on national numbers, integers and real numbers.
4) Solving problems related to division on integers, highest common factor, lowest common multiple, odds-ratio and base arithmetic.
5) Doing the exponential of a real number, root and do operations on them
6) Explaining the algebratic expressions and solve problems related to equation, inequalities, factorization and some equation systems
7) Explaining types of graphic and comments.
8) Expressing function and operation subjects and solve problems related to them.

Course Contents

This course includes:Definition of mathematics, relations between mathematics and other sciences, sets and operations on sets, number systems, national numbers, numbers of base varieties, integer, divisibility rules, highest common factor (H.C.F.), lowest common multiple (L.C.M.), concepts and applications of ration and proportion, improper proportion, real numbers, power and root of a number,identities and factorization, the first-order equations and systems of equations, inequalities, graph reading and interpretation, function, operation concepts
