Course Contents

This course provides students with the knowledge of basic concepts and principles of first aid, first aid responsibilities, body systems, basic life support, level of consciousness, injury, bleeding, poisoning, drowning, heat-related problems, bites and stings, injuries / patient transport, first aid case and cabinet.

Weekly Schedule

1) Basic concepts and principles of First Aid
2) responsibilities of first aid
3) Human body: circulatory, respiratory, digestive, excretory, nervous, moving the system
4) First reaction: an on-site evaluation, the patient / injured assessment ";" Basic life support, basic concepts, in the adult, child and infant basic life support "

6) Drownings; basic concepts of rigid bodies choking (adult), rigid bodies drowning (baby), drowning
7) Poisoning; basic concepts, through the digestive and respiratory toxicity

9) Bleeding: Basic concepts, special type of light bleeding
10) Injuries: Basic concepts of open wounds, closed wounds, fractures, injuries are a special type of
11) Bites and stings; Basic concepts
12) Heat-related problems, basic concepts, burns, electric shock, heat stroke, freezing
13) Windings, the injured / patient handling techniques
14) First aid kit / cabinet, case (case study) work
