Course Contents

This course provides students with the knowledge of combustion of fuels and heat transfer, solving simple problems on heat tranfer, steam, the function and usage of steam boilers, compressed air, producing and using of compressed air electrical services, the basic elements of electrical supply services, water services, the basic elements of water services, heating and ventilating services, the basic elements of heating and ventilating services, waste water treatment, the basic elements of waste water treatment concepts.

Weekly Schedule

1) Describes a fuel calorific value.
2) For solid and liquid fuel combustion equation indicates.
3) For the air-fuel ratio to solve simple problems.
4) Heat transfer solves the basic problems.
5) Defines the amount of heat and water from liquid into gas to be heated to temperatures during the heat draws the graph of the relationship between the amount.
6) Defines the degree of dryness of the wet steam.
7) Explanis the tasks and use of steam boilers.
8) Midterm examination/Assessment.
9) Defines the types of general purpose air compressor.
10) Providing electric current systems, understand the basic elements.
