Course Contents

Definition of microprocessors and basic hardware terms, structure of internal CPU, memory circuits, addressing techniques, timing diagrams, bus structure of microcomputers, flags and their functions, introduction to assembly language commands, construction of basic programs in assembly language.

2) Memory units, input output units, and bus structure
3) Control signals, adressing memory units.
4) Buffer memory and opcode fetch.
5) Flag structures.
6) Timing diagrams.
7) Advanced tecniques of adressing memory units.
8) Midterm examination/Assessment
9) Adressing input and outpt units.
10) Memory maped adressing techniques of input and output units and differences.
11) Introduction to Intel 8085 assembly language and basic commands
12) Classification of commands and data transfer operations
13) Logical and arithmetic operations.
14) Comparing operations and counter building.
