2) Explain the features and operation of transistor amplifier circuit types.
3) Appliy small signal amplifier circuits on the board. (for BJT and FET amplifiers)

Descriptions, BJT small signal(voltage) amplifiers, FET small signal(voltage) amplifier, big signal (power) amplifiers, oscillators.

Weekly Schedule

1) Amplification in the AC Domain, BJT Transistor Modeling, The Important Parameters: Zi, Zo, Av, Ai
2) BJT SMALL-SIGNAL ANALYSIS: Common-Emitter Fixed-Pre-voltaged Configuration, pre-voltage with Voltage-Divider, CE un-bridged circuit, Emitter-Follower Configuration,Common-Base Configuration.
3) BJT SMALL-SIGNAL ANALYSIS:Collector Feedback Configuration, Collector DC Feedback Configuration, Complete Hybrid Equivalent Model. Charging effect of RI and RS. Complete Mixed Equivalent Circuit, System Approach.
4) BJT Small Signal Amplifier Circuit Design and Trouble shooting.
5) FET SMALL-SIGNAL ANALYSIS: JFET Small-Signal Model, AC Small-Signal Work, JFET Fixed-Bias Configuration, JFET Voltage-Divider Configuration , JFET Source-Follower (Common-Drain) Configuration, JFET Common-Gate Configuration .
6) Depletion-Type MOSFETs , Enhancement-Type MOSFETs, E-MOSFET Drain-Feedback Configuration, E-MOSFET Voltage-Divider Configuration.
7) FET Small Signal Amplifier Circuit Design

12) FEEDBACK and OSCILLATOR CIRCUITS: Feedback Concepts , Feedback Connection Types , Practical Feedback Circuits ,Feedback Amplifier—Phase and Frequency Considerations
13) Oscillator Operation, Phase-Shift Oscillator, Wien Bridge Oscillator , Tuned Oscillator Circuit Crystal Oscillator, Unijunction Oscillator.
14) Oscillator Circuit Design
