1) The varios types of valves, compressors and pumps, the structure, working principles and the uses of them. The design of compressed vessels and storage tanks
2) The reactors in chemical transformations and heat transfer equıpment, commonly used types of filters, .mıxers, crushers and mılls
3) The uses of steam boilers, the production and comressed air, elements of electrical supply and water services
4) The fuel service and state the basic elements of refrigeration

Course Contents

Plant equipments and utilities, valves, identify the two types of valves and their construction. Pumps, describe the construction, application and operation of centrifugal, reciprocation, and principles of pumps, compressors, know the cycle of operations in compressors, pressure vessels and storage tanks, describe the design and construction of various types of pressure vessels and storage tanks, reactors, describe the role of reactors in chemical transformations, heat transfer equipment , filters, several commonly used types of filters, mixers, several commonly used types of agitators and mixers, crushers and mills. Several commonly used types of crushers and mills. Plant utilities, steam, compressed air, electrical services, water services, fuel services, refrigeration.
