Course Contents

This course provides the students with the knowledge on computer networks (LAN, MAN, WAN concepts, network elements), cables used in computer networks (cables and wiring techniques used in networks), network hardware units (repeater, bridge and router), network protocols (the history of network protocols, addressing and identification, file transfer protocol, FTP, TELNET, SMTP electronic mail, and DNS (Domain Name Server)).
