This course includes introduction to occupational hygiene, evaluation of health hazards, sampling for specific contaminants, physical agent evaluation, control of health hazards, major environmental contaminants, the problem of air pollution, water pollution, hazardous waste management, smoking and occupational health, occupational stress, management of occupational stress.. The aim of these lessons is to provide students with background information on the basic physical and chemical risk factors of occupational health, and specific management of common toxic materials of work environment.
