4) Knows labeling and locking systems.
5) Recognizing the labels for transportation of hazardous substances
6) Explains the uses of the letters H and P used in the labeling of hazardous substances.
7) Explaining meanings of the colors on pipes and pots
8) Defining restriction, warning and mandotory signs
9) Knows the labeling rules for chemicals or mixtures within the framework of the Global Harmonization System (GHS).
10) Explains the labels and markings on Dangerous Goods containers, packages and tanks.
11) Knows the selection criteria for occupational safety warning signs that must be kept in workplaces.

Course Contents

This course includes the importance of labels in office, signals of preventing accidents,symbols of escape route, symbols of fire fighting equipments, symbols on pipe and pot, emergency warning manual for hazardous materials, threat symbols, labels used in hazardous material transportation, signboards used in hazardous material transportation and labelling vehicles, usage of letters R and S in labelling of hazardous materials, symbols found on personal protectors, prohibition and threat symbols, warning and information symbols.
