Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1) Explaining of historical developments of tools and equipments, using in firefighting
2) Explaining the technical specifications, standards and usage of the equipments such as axe, shovel, sledge hammer, pliers, glove, lantern etc., and repair
3) Explaining the technical specifications, standards and usage of personal protective equipments such as heat resisitive trousers jacket, etc., and repair
4) Explaining the technical specifications and usage of closed loop and opened loop respiration device and repair
5) Explaining the types, lenghts, capacities and damages of hoses, and repair
6) Explaining the adapters of German, Italian and American hoses
7) Explaining the technical features and application areas of hose valves and Y-pipe
8) Explaining the specifications of dry chemical powder, carbon dioxide and foam extinguishers and use them effectively
