1) Explain the definition and historical development of aromatherapy.
2) Describe the fixed oils used in aromatherapy and their characteristic.
3) Clarify common aromaterapy methods used in modern medicine and folk medicine.
4) Explain essential oils used in aromatherapy and their properties.
5) Explain extracting methods of essential oils.
6) Define preparation of aromatic oils for compresses, bath and massage.
7) Discuss basic aromaterapy cures and some issues to be considered in aromatherapy such as cure, dose, interaction etc.

Description and historical development of aromatherapy; essential oils and fixed (carrier) oils; obtaining methods of vegetable oils used in aromatherapy; the methods used in aromatherapy; simple aromatherapy oil blends, and simple applications; points to be considered in aromaterapy applications.
