The lecture covers properties of procaryotic and eucaryotic cells, Microbial growth and environmental factors effecting growth, Properties of bacteria, archeobacteria, algae, fungae, protozoa, rotifera, crustaceans helmints and viruses, Metabolism of microorganism, Indicator microorganism, Pathogen microorganisms, agents, vectors. Role of microorganisms in biochemical cycles, Role of microorganisms in biological treatment.
