6) Interpret global warming and greenhouse effect with energy and environment.
7) Explain planning of energy sources, energy inventory and new technologies in the field of energy.
8) Explain new energy sources, sustainable development, policies and sustaniable energy projects in Turkey.

Course Contents

This course includes energy cycle in ecosystems, energy concept, laws of thermodynamics, solar energy, entropy, definition of energy and sustainability, developing with sustainibility, main principles of Turkish energy policy, energy usage in the world, sustainable energy usage, energy sources, energy saving, effective energy consumption, fossil energy souces and environmental problems.
