1) Define physical therapy modalities.
2) Define the general characteristics of electrotherapy modalities and identify application areas.
3) List the indications and contraindications of electrotherapy modalities.
4) List the complications of electrotherapy modalities and take security precautions.
5) List the thermal treatment modalities and identify application areas.
6) Define the indications, contraindications and complications of thermal therapy modalities and identify application areas.
7) List the general properties of laser, magnetotherapy, biofeedback, massage, traction and identifiy application areas.

Basic concepts of physical therapy modalities, properties; indications and contraindications, complications of the physical therapy modalities; hot and cold applications, hydrotherapy and electrotherapy modalities, biofeedback; clinical, and laboratory applications are among the scope of this course.
