Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1) Define the production systems and the strategies being used in the field of production management.
2) Design the most suitable production systems and processes to objectives of senior management.
3) Re-organize the organization of production according to the results obtained to the applied system and strategy.
4) Form the most appropriate PPC system of production organization objectives.
5) Associate with the expected production targets to the PPC system which is determined.

Course Contents

This course includes The Basic Concepts of Production Management, Significance of Production In Nations Economy, Production and Productivity Relations, Description of Production, Historical Improvement of Production Management, The Purpose of Production Management, Relations Between Production Management and Other Departments, Production Systems, Work Measurement. Job Evaluation and Price Incitement Systems, Types of Forecast, Production Planning and Control, Inventory Management , Maintenance Policy.
