This course covers the history of microbiology, development, and basic concepts in laboratory work rules to be applied; basic equipments used in Microbiology, microscopes, classification and general characteristics of microorganisms, bacteria structure, reproduction, metabolism, genetics of bacteria and antimicrobial substances, and the transmission routes of infection, sterilization and disinfection ; microorganisms produced media, paints and painting methods, staphylococci, streptococci, pneumococci, and bacilli, fungi, and general information about the virus.
