Course Contents

The topics of the course include: The metarials that used in preparetion for foaling and various technics Diffucult foaling / dystocia Stages of lobar and delivery normal and abnormal position the foal for delivery and pathologic complications birth of a foal sequence and attendant and helping foaling Mare post-foaling care and faol post-foaling care Equine obstetrics checking foal after birth problems with lactation neonatal infections,bacterial,parasite and fungal diseases clinical mastitis

4) Hormonal mechanism of oestrus cycle in mares

7) Control of reproduction in stallions and mares
8) Midterm examination/Assessment
9) Pregnancy physiology and pregnancy types
10) Methods of pregnancy diagnosis
11) Care and nurturing of the mother during pregnancy
12) Pregnancy pathology
13) Stages of normal birth and delivery.
