Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1) Identify the purpose and uses for longeing.
2) Explain how to apply longeing horses.
3) Practice the procedures of longeing including getting him going , showing correct gaits , speed, relaxation, rhythm
4) Begin longe of the horse and the proper use of the longe whip and longeing place.
5) Use body language, voice, longe line and longe whip to direct the horse.
