Course Contents

This course covers: first aid in the workplace, racetrack and exercise center, responsibilities of the first aider, action in an emergency, primary assessment, breathing and circulation, principles of resuscitation, disorders of respiration, airway obstruction, disorders of circulation, disorders of consciousness, wrenches,wounds and bleeding.

10) Foreleg lameness, carpus and metacarpus injures
11) Fetlock and pastern injuries
12) Pelvis and Femur injuries
