Manufacturing Methods of Forging. Explaining the Functions of Milling Machines. Manufacturing Methods of Foundry. Forming of Plastic. Sheet Metal Works. Forming of Materials by Rolling. Gas Welding and Oxygen Cutting. Shielded Metal-Arc Welding. Gas Tungsten Arc Welding (TIG). MIG/MAG Welding. Flux Cored arc Welding, Submerged Arc Welding. (SAW). Introduction to The Functions of Frame Milling and Practice. Explaining the Functions of Milling Machines Such As Bohrweek, Copy, NC and CNC.

Weekly Schedule

1) Intoduction to Machining Technology, History of Machine Tools, Basic Motions in Machine Tools, Machine Tool, Workpiece Material, Machining Productivity, Accuracy and Surface Integrity, Product Design for Economical Machining, Environmental Impacts of Machining.
2) Basic Elements and Mechanisms of Machine Tools; machine tool structures "llight and heavy weight constructions", machine tool guideways "sliding friction guideways, rolling friction guideways, externally pressurized guideways", machine tool spindles "spindle bearings, selection of spindle-bearing fit, sliding friction spindle bearing".
3) Machine Tool Drives; Stepped Speed Drives "belting, pick-off gears, gearboxes, stepping of speeds, feed gearboxes, preselection of feeds and speeds.
4) Machine Tool Drives; Stepless Speed Drives "mechanical stepless drives, electrical stepless speed drive, hydraulic stepless speed drive.
5) Planetary Transmission, Machine Tool Motors, Reversing Mechanisms, Couplings and Brakes.
6) Reciprocating Mechanisms; "quick return mechanism, whitworth mechanism, hydraulic reciprocating mechanism".
