Course Contents

General structure of CNC machine tools. Basic concepts about turning and milling machines. Coordination of the CNC turnery machine and ISO and code (G, M) systems. Pre programming and preparations of CNC turnery machine and general programming of the CNC turnery machine with the common codes. Functions of cycle codes within CNC turnery machine. Programming with the code system – DYNA. Coordination systems and code system of milling machine. General structure of milling machine. Basic principles for programming of CNC milling machine. Pre programming and preparations of CNC milling machine and general programming of the CNC milling machines with the common codes. Cycle and subroutine turnery functions on the machine of CNC milling. Programming of CNC milling machine. Programming and activating of the items on the machine of CNC turnery and milling.

Weekly Schedule

1) Description of the general structure of Computer control Machine tools
2) Basic concepts of turning and milling (milling cutting materials, size, selection, chip formation, heat, wear and metal removal principles)
3) Coding system of computer controlled machine tools and general structure
4) Pre-programming preparations for CNC machine tools, common codes in CNC machine tools. Programming of the workpiece program
5) Description of Computer-controlled lathe cycles (cycle) commands, execution of workpiece program on lathe
6) Execution of workpiece program comprising the whole codes in the CNC lathe, processing in computer-controlled lathe
7) Pre-programming preparations in the Computer-controlled milling machine,teaching of common codes in the CNC miling machine, execution of part program of workpiece
8) Midterm examination/Assessment
9) Explanation of cycle commands on the computer-controlled milling machine, execution of workpiece program comprising of cycle commands
10) Execution of workpiece program comprising all the codes in CNC milling machine,processing in computer-controlled milling machine
11) Making of workpiece program at different controller unit milling and lathe
12) Making programmes of various workpieces and processing at computer controlled machines (lathes and milling)
13) Use of loops and subroutines, production of workpiece in computer-controlled machine tools
14) Production of workpiece samples made in the computer-controlled machines
15) Teaching codes and coding system at DYNA lathe and ,execution of workpiece program DYNA controllers lathe, manufacturing workpiece at DYNA lathe machine
16) Final examination
