Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit
1) Explain the principles of the processes mentioned in the objective and their application.
2) Determine appropriate applications for each type of process, and the precautions necessary to achieve a sound weld.
3) Explain the welding parameters, appropriate joint preparations and potential problems to be overcome for each process for a given application.
4) Explain the purpose and functions of each major component of the equipment and accessories.
