Course Contents

Wind plants. Wind turbines and their types. Components of wind plants. Electric production in wind plants. Generator types. Analysis of load. Determination of realm of wind plant, construction of fundamental connections of wind plant. Construction of wind energy system connections and testing them. Accumulation of energy. Calculation of accumulation groups. Determination of converter capacity. Construction of converter connections. Construction of inputs and outputs of network. Design of wind plant; aerodynamics of rotor, feasibility of electric production from wind energy, design of combined diesel-wind energy systems. Construction of counter group. Wind energy and wind energy potential, wind energy map of Turkey.
