Course Contents

This course covers power and torque concepts in internal combustion engines, diesel and gasoline engines in terms of power and torque values, calculating power and torque, working principles of dynomometer and its types, engine performance-combustion and injection characteristics, compression test, valve setting and its importance, variable valve timing systems, Spark timing and its importance, determininig the spark timing in electronic systems.
