Introduction: Description of Subject, Properties of Sediment, Mechanism and Modes of Sediment Transport, Initiation of Motions, Mechanism of Bedload and Suspended Load. The Hydraulics of Sediment Transport With Pipes: Physical Properties Water-Sediment Mixture, Flow Regimes (Two Phases Flow), General Knowledge on Head Loss in Pipes, Head Loss During Homogenous and Heterogeneous Suspended Load in Pipes, Properties of Newtonian and Non Newtonian Fluids, Properties of Hydraulic, Pneumatic and Hydro-Capsul Transport in Pipes, Pipelines and Pumps at Hydraulic Transport: Diameter, Thickness of Pipes, Determining Type of Pipe, Decision of Pipeline Alignment and Pumps.
