Course Contents

Introduction to R, data structures and basic commands, role of probability and statistics in civil engineering, probabillty theory, random variables and probability distributions, functions of random variables, statistical inference in engineering, hypothesis testing and confidence intervals, goodness of fit tests, regression analysis, risk and reliability in engineering systems.
