Structure of solids, material characterization, metallic implant materials (stainless steels, CoCr alloys, Ti alloys, TiNi alloys, other metals, corrosion of metallic implants, production methods), ceramic implant materials, polymeric biomaterials, composite biomaterials, the relation between structure-properties of biomaterials, the properties of hard and soft tissues, responses of cell and tissues.
