Programming in Geoinformatics
PostgreSQL open source databases using standard relational model and SQL query language support is a powerful database management system. The database components (tables, forms, data access pages, queries, and reports) make use of the database administrator by open-source programs. It also supports storage of binary large objects, including pictures, sounds, or video. It has native programming interfaces for C/C++, Java, .Net, Perl, Python, Ruby, Tcl, ODBC. PostgreSQL database system is used. The relationship between the topology and the Geographic Information System (GIS) is examined.
