Hazard and risk concepts; Risk management; Risk analysis process; Theoretical foundations of risk analysis; Uncertainty and variability in risk analysis; Identification of Hazards; HAZOP, FMEA, Fault Tree Analysis, Event Tree Analysis, Whatever Analysis, Simple Cross List Method etc. risk analysis and evaluation methods; Environmental risk analysis, Case studies; Insurance-risk relationship and insurance issues; Types of insurance; National and international marine insurance legislation and insurance applications.
