Course Contents

System theory, basic automation systems, artificial intelligence, control and coordination of propulsion systems, control and coordination of heating, ventilation, cooling and air conditioning systems, voltage and frequency control of power supplies and distribution systems, electric motors; Basic principles of ship automation systems, controllable parameters in ship automation, sensors, hydraulic, pneumatic and electropneumatic systems, control and operation program of ship cargo and ballast systems and equipment, ship automation, ship information systems, fundamentals and application programs of digital control, ship automation Regulations affecting their applications are within the scope of the course.

3) Principles of ship automation system.
4) Parameters and devices controlled in ship automation.
5) Sensors in ship automation; temperature, pressure, rotation speed measurement and other sensors.
6) Hydraulic, pneumatic and electropneumatic systems in ship automation.
7) Hydraulic pumps and motors in ship automation.
8) Midterm
9) Dynamic analysis and modeling of the ship automation system.
10) System modeling in ship automation systems.
11) Units with ship automation system.
12) Intelligent ship automation systems.
13) Application examples of ship automation systems -1.
14) Application examples of ship automation systems -2.
15) Regulations affecting ship automation applications.
16) Final exam
