Course Contents

Cell and tissue culture techniques and basic principles, tissue culture room design, specific devices and materials, safety rules in tissue culture laboratories, working conditions, contamination sources, sterilization and cleaning techniques, culture media and solutions, methods for cell culture, animal husbandry and care principles, primary cell culture methods, specific cell lines and their cultivation techniques, recent advances in molecular biology and recombinant DNA technology related to cell culture are going to be discussed with recent findings placed in literature.
