Course Contents

SI and diesel engine operation and performance parameters. Design and operation of sensors and actuators. Fuel injection systems for SI and diesel engines. Electronic ignition systems for SI engines. CAN configuration and OBD strategies. Variable geometry intake systems. Variable valf timing and lift control systems. Cylinder charge and mixture formation control systems. After treatment of SI and diesel engine exhaust emissions. Engine testing and diagnosis.
