1) Revision of basic concepts about fuel cell terminology
2) Listing of fuel cell classification criterias
3) Comparison of basic types of fuel cells in terms of system and operating characteristics
4) Fuel cell evolution history and big historical inventions on fuel cell technology
5) Correlation of power output and operating temperature with application areas of fuel cells
6) Determining fuel cell working voltage by taking irreversibilities into account
7) Using Nerst equation to find electrochemical potential of fuel cells
8) Explanation of basic characteristics of individual fuel cell types such as molten carbonate, phosphoric acid, proton exchange membrane, solid oxide, alkaline and direct methanol fuel cells
