1) Students will be able to analyze and design reinforced concrete beams and column sections by considering reliable material models that reflect the behavior of confined concrete and strain hardening of steel
2) Students will be able to analyze reinforced concrete beams and column sections in yield and ultimate limits.
3) Students will be able to determine their plastic hinge rotation capacity.
4) Students will learn concepts such as punching failure and yield line theory in flat-plates
