1) Define the basic concepts associated with Biostatistics.
2) Describe the using areas of Biostatistics.
3) Provide expert advice to fellow investigators on design and data analysis for studies in the occupational health and safety areas.
4) Use appropriate statistical hypothesis tests to obtain information from research hypothesis.
5) Explain the difference between parametric and non-parametric tests.
6) Explain the fundamentals of the statistical decision theory.
7) Use the linear regression technique to analyze the relationship between different random variables.

Definitions of Some Basic Concepts in Biostatistics, Using Biostatistics in Different Areas, Frequency Distributions and Descriptive Dimensions, Classification of Data, Table and Chart Making, Distribution Types, Hypothesis Tests, Paired Sample T-Test, Chi-square Tests, Non-parametric methods, Variance Tests, Correlation and Regression Analysis and Step-by-step instructions for using SPSS for Windows.
