Course Contents

In vitro techniques and identification of historical development, the use areas of techniques, laboratory organization, the nutrient medium and preparation, plant tissue culture sterilization, stages of the cultures, organogenesis and somatic embryogenesis, micropropagation, problems and solutions, disease free plant production, callus culture , cell culture, embryo culture, haploid plant production, the production of secondary metabolites, plant germplasm storage, protoplast culture and somatic hybridization, somaclonal hybridization.
