Probability theory. Random variables. Basic probability distributions: Binomial Distribution, Bernoulli Distribution, Poisson Distribution, Exponential Distribution, Normal Distribution and Uniform Distribution. Queuing models. Markov chains. Queuing network models. Modeling communication networks using queuing systems. Computer Networks simulation models. Computer networks performance evaluation. Example applications.
