1) Explains the basic principles of wireless communication.
2) Understands the multipath fading caused by reflection, refraction and scattering.
3) Classifies the fading channels.
4) Explains multiple antenna and space-time communication.
5) explains the use and advantages of multiple antenna techniques (SIMO, MISO and MIMO).
6) Explains MIMO-OFDM system.

Applications and requirements of wireless services, Smart antenna systems, System elements of a smart antenna, Wireless propagation, Signal model for TDMA, TDMA Adaptive Processing Methods, Multiple input multiple output (MIMO) communications systems, Transmission techniques for MIMO, MIMO-OFDM Modulation , MIMO-OFDM technology and applications.
