Course Contents

Introduction to numerical methods and error definition. Finding roots of nonlinear equation. Solving a set of simultaneous linear equations by Gauss elimination and Gauss-Seidel methods. Regression anaylsis, The least squares method. Interpolation. Numerical differentiation and integration. Numerical methods for differential equations
